This is an amazing wildlife travel snippet we’ve been sent from Saruni Samburu Camp in Kenya.
Two clients from the Netherlands had an incredible sighting in Samburu National Reserve. These first-time safari clients were on a game drive along the Ewaso Nyiro River at the border between Samburu National Reserve and Buffalo Springs National Reserve. They saw lionesses attack a young giraffe and managed to pull it down and kill it.
Whilst lions do sometimes get giraffes, it’s not THAT common, and to get a shot like this one is definitely not common!
